Locking subform field

I have a subform that that displays in the datagrid. It's for contact notes. I want to show the NOTE column and the TIMESTAMP column but I don't want the user to be able to edit the TIMESTAMP. I cannot seem to lock that column? I could swear I was able to do that before.


Anyone know know how I could do this?

Setting the locked property of the textbox should work.

There is no textbox. It's a subform as a datasheet. Just two columns. One for the actual contact's notes and the other for the timestamp.

In design view, there is no textbox?

Not at all. It's a data table. In Design mode it's just a box. in Layout Mode it's a data table.
