My experience was gain with Access 2003 but I now have Access 2012 with low experience level in it! I would like to know if it's possible to export a form and a table from a development DB and import it to another DB? If yes, how please! TIA Phil

Don't understand the issue. Import of objects from another db is not a new feature. Use the Import/Export wizard.

I thought it wasn't new, but my familiarity in Access 2010 ribbon navigation is not up to the task. Nor can I find the wizard! Under the "External Data" Ribbon Tab I see "Saved imports" and "Saved exports" but no place to create an export. I do believe Access 2003 was friendlier. Phil
Is the database a web design? Or is it an accde file? A normal accdb file will have Import and Export sections on the External Data tab.

First, I stumbled upon the answer; I succeeded in importing the Table. I fear just clicking buttons when I am not sure what the end results will be. Second I need an Access dictionary to understand commonly used terms like "ACCDE"! In my case it is not a web application, therefore I conclude it is an accde file?! Also an error codes table would be nice to have. Thanks for your responses. Phil
Look at the file in Windows Explorer. Is the file name extension accdb or accde?
Correction, in Access 2010 they are "Import & Link" and "Export" sections on the External Data tab.
A table of what error codes? There would be so many!
