Primary and Subparts - Need Major Experienced in Access Help Here

Ok here is my delima:

I have created at excel spread sheet called Assembly Line. In it is a copy of the following to show what it looks like:

The top 2 lines in each section is a type of Hose (the Primary) and the lines underneath it is the assembly choices to go with that hose (Subparts)

Now here is the delima:

1. Do I just bring over this spreadsheet in this format to a table in Access? (either link or straight entry)
2. After its brought into Access how do I get it to read when making the Hose selection that it gives only choices for that Hose?

I know a little bit of VBA but not enough so I made need help to create this form on this too

Think you need two tables.

One table for hoses (ID, Description).

What does ALSO SOUR SERVICE mean?

Try dependent (cascading) combobox to constrain subpart choices to selected primary. Review http://datapigtechnologies.com/flash...combobox2.html

I have no idea what SOUR SERVICE means..lol I just work in the office :-) I will create these tables as stated above and let you know how that turns out..
