    sir i am completely new to access,i just want to know that in the following attachment how to calculate TOTAL AVERAGE MAX and RANK of the candidates from the table above.please give me solution using sql querries and tell me about how i can view it in ms access window

    also i will request seniors to give me some links of good sites for learning ms access.

    Firstly, your table is not normalized. Please read this white paper on databases and designing them.

    Now to your specific question. Once your table is normalized, you can run aggregate queries to get that information. Here is a link on aggregate queries.
