    Sorting/Filtering a continuous form

I have a continuous form that I want to allow the user to sort or filter. I noticed that I am able to right-click in a field and get a menu that allows me to sort or filter that field. However this only seems to work in development mode. I would really like to provide this functionality to my users.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

What do you mean by 'development mode'? You are deploying database as an executable ACCDE?

    Review http://datapigtechnologies.com/flash...tomfilter.html

When I deploy the database front-end it is an ACCDE file. When the user opens the continuous form there is no way to filter or sort the list by right-clicking the field.
The deployed db has the Access Shift key disabled and all the ribbons are blocked except the ones I want them to have, i.e., Print Preview ribbon.
However, when I am in the ACCDB with full access I can right-click on a field and sort or filter. This is very convenient and I would like to know how to enable
this for the user in the ACCDE, if possible.

The DataPig video is for a single record form. Keep in mind that I am displaying a continuous form that I wish to easily filter or sort.

The technique will work for Single or Continuous views, even Datasheet if the Datasheet is a subform. Put the search controls in form header section. Bind form to the parameterized query.
