Number in Primary key field gets increased each time I jump to a new field

    Assuming the following table:

    Album ID AlbumTitle Song Rating
    New

When I enter data, Album ID increases every time I jump to the next field. For example, when I enter: AlbumTitle, Song, Rating, Album ID is already at 4 and this is just the first record.

Need some more information. Are you entering data in a table directly or using a form? What are the properties for the Album ID. Do you have any Macros or VBA as part of your db.

Actually what do you mean by VBA Macro? There is a security window that pops up asking about VBA Macro and I ok'd it.

If you would like further analysis of your db, suggest you upload sample to the forum. Use the Go Advanced button. Be sure to run a compact and repair before uploading.
