Button to filter records when typing something in

I want to create a button on a form where a text box comes up and you type your ID code. If what you type matches what's in the ID code field, you can only see those records. Any idea how I can do this? Thanks

This is a parameter input prompt. I don't use them. Too hard to validate entry. I prefer to input criteria in a control on form and query references the control for criteria.
