    How to change ODBC connection

    Hi:
we have an existing form application, and want to change ODBC connection to a new database. Once I open the application I don't see any of the tools (Ex: External Data, Database Tools, Datasheet). Thank you for your time.

What do you mean by 'form application' - an Access database that is the frontend for a split design? Is this an accdb or accde file? If an accdb, try holding shift key down as the file opens. This will override most project option settings.

    What is the backend app?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
