How do I get a control to reset on a form after update

I have a form with a tabbed control with three subforms. How do i get the tabbed control to reset after update? When I say reset I mean I want the first tabbed subform to be selected when and not the last one that was opened when the form is reopened

In the properties for the form, use the Onload in the events and then set focus function for the particular control you want to have focus.
