How to document a access database?

    he guys,

I am searching for a way to document my access database. I mean to document all forms and queries. The built in access database documenter is too detailed.

Does anybody of you know a tool to document a graphical representation of the database. I mean to show all forms and how they connect to each other. Powerpoint could be a good tool, but may you know a better one.

I don't need a documenter, a programm. I am searching for a way to document my access database. For example Powerpoint where I could create some graphics, which could represent tables. I think powerpoint is not a good tool for doind this. Therefore I asked if somebody knows a tool, which is better.

Don't understand. A 'tool' would be a program. The referenced program does do some diagramming, in the form of a treeview. What other graphic representation would you want?

    Look at Microsoft Visio.

And what exactly would this "magical thing" which is free and doesn't need an install do?
As has been said, any "tool" will be a program, and will have to be installed in order to use it.

Yes, but It is not allowed to install a program at my company. Anyway I thought there could be a program, which fits my requirements.

Are you allowed to write programs -- Access queries and vba and create tables?
There are examples of people writing there own programs to document their databases.
Many are not sophisticated to the point they are "for sale programs" but do an adequate job
    of documenting locally.
Don't get me wrong, there are people who sell Database documenting programs -- but they have to be installed and managed and maintained. These are the ones your company is probably thinking about when they set a policy of no installed programs.

    Take a look here- it's just 1 I found

Thanks, the built in object dependencies will solve my problem. Anyway, I have to print it out for report. Do you or anybody else know how to print out the dependency results?
