    Old Access Program issues

I have a client running a program built on Access 2003. It has worked fine until the last few months when they updated their computers to the latest software. Now, the program is kicking them out, won't accept various inputs (such as any ID starting with a 6), new records aren't saving, etc. I'm going to assume that the problem comes in with the new software clashing with the old programming. Is there an easy fix for this, or is the program going to need to be rewritten?

Is your client trying to use an MS Access 2003 .mdb file, or an .mde file? I have no experience with it, but an .mde file might cause problems - the database should be recompiled under the new version.

Using an .mdb should pose few if any problems, and certainly nothing anywhere near as serious as you describe. Try a recompile and a compact and repair to see if that helps. You could also have a problem with missing references in the new version.
