    converting from access 1997 to 2003

    Is there a toll I can use for converting an access application developed in access 1997 to 2003?
    You reponse is much appreciated

    it ws, just that I don't know how the actual conversion is done: just install 2033 and open the application? will the conversion happen immediately or I have to go trhough a process?

    Start with a BackUp. Then try it and find out.

    I did and I get numerous errors. One is the missing refernce to comdlg32.ocx...any ideas?

    Did you let it convert or did you *import* the older version?

    By the way..can you please telll me what this means:
    "Error loading ActiveX control 'ctlCommDlg' on form or report "FormName"

    Maybe make sure reference to ActiveX Data Objects library is set to latest version.

    ...need to specify that ctlCommDlg is an ActiveX control
