    Database with extension mld

I have a database of a type I am not familiar with. It has an extension of .mld . I would like to know what type of database it is, and if I am able to import it into ms access some how, so I can create some decent reports, etc with it.
If anyone knows, that would be great. If someone needs one of the .mld files to look at, one is attached to this thread.

I read that over, as I have been doing a lot of google searching. However, it does not make sense. I am still trying to figure this one out. My friend has some target scoring software that uses this (called megalink) from europe. We are trying to find out about this file system/database type so I can create some proper reports from it. Currently it is a very clunky and poor reporting system.

    Google: target scoring megalink

Did you look at http://www.megalink.no/? Apparently 'no' is Norway. There is contact information on the site.

I doubt Access can read this file type. So unless it can export to a file type recognized by Access such as a CSV text file ...

If I knew what type of database it was, I can find something to perform an export/conversion, and then get the data into access.

Contact the company. They should know. The db might be some proprietary format that Access can't read directly. This can happen.

How do you know what's in the file? If you saw the data, what did you use to see it?
June7 has given info re Norway Megalink -- see if you can track down a user group.....

I've tried reading the file with NotePad and TextPad, but it's much like reading a memory dump. There's a few characters you can recognize but most of it is gobblety-gook.
