Beginner in access 2010:where is the command wizard as in 2007?

Hi there: Im a beginner in access 2010. I've got the table set

up but now want a nice form for it. See lots of gadgets from
which i can add things. Where do i start. Access 2007 had a
command wizard to help. How do i learn these actions from
access 2010? Wizard would help. Thanks.

Not understanding your confusion. Form in design view, click the control icon on the design tab, then click on your form and the wizard will open.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

hi. Sorry for the confusion. Its not the form wizard im looking for, its the "command wizard", if any. In 2007, there was a command wizard that helped set up various buttons to function on the form. On 2010, i cant find such a wizard, if any, or anything similar. This is my first time with access, so im learning as i go. Btw, the 2007 command wizard is what i read about, not that i used it:i am new to 2010 only now. Thanks.

There is no 'command wizard' and has never been! There is a Command Button Wizard, which is what June7 was referring to!

In Form Design View, if you go up to the Ribbon, under 'Controls' you'll see an icon marked 'Button.' This is the Command Button Icon. If you click on it, as June7 said, and move to the Form and click on it, it'll place a Command Button on your Form. At this point the Command Button Wizard will pop up, allowing you to select a task to be done with that particular Command Button.

Other Controls, such as the Combobox, Listbox and Option Group Controls, have their own Wizards, which are invoked in the same manner, by simply placing one on the Form.

For me, using the steps above, the wizard may appear one in a billion tries (no, I haven't counted). I guess that's part of its wizardry. But this is a "on and off" world, so what may I be missing?

Either the "Wizard" is highlighted or it is not. When you place a control on a form or report, if the "Wizard" button is not highlighted, the wizard will not launch. If the "Wizard" is highlighted, the wizard will launch when you create a new control.

Click the Select tool first, then the Button tool; place the button; the wizard should come up.
