    I downloaded a template online that does inventory controls and there is some slight modifications that i need.

    1/ have a spot to enter in data like - tax rate - Multiplication factor - profit margin then do some back math to make these work with this application.

    2/ Make P.O.'s printable.

    if you feel better talking over skype please add me Meat4Grinder - usually online between 5pm est to 1am est.
    Or email me and i will respond asap

    Since we know nothing about your data structure, can't really advise how to modify to accommodate your new requirements.

    Why aren't P.O.'s printable now?

    If you want to attach the file to post, maybe we can analyze and offer some suggestions.

    Ok this file is the exact one i downloaded off the internet. I would think it would be a simple as adding a print button but i dont know. I am more an excel person. I have used access but NEVER tired editing it or addition to it. I know its a great tool but dont know its full abilities. I am currently using excel as my database (i know not the best tool for the job) but going with what i know. seems i am having issues uploading is there an alternate way to send the file to you?

    What is the upload issue? Have you zipped the files? 2mb zip is allowed. Run Compact & Repair on the Access file first.

    Highly recommend you convert the backend from Excel to Access.

    Found the original template in zip. Goods Template.zip

    Have yet to try to run this with true info and been only playing with it to see what its capabilities are.

    Sorry, can't help much because this is a web database. I can't open anything in design view. I can see there is a TaxRate field in Orders table and tax amount calculated on report which seems reasonable. Exactly what issue are you having?

    when you clear the database to start your own the taxes do not calculate. No real way to punch in mulitipliers ie supplier list price (A) , multiplier (B) then put your mark up (C)
    =(A*B)*C --> retail price

    Ok i guess i will try to figure out Access and build one from scratch, all i need to know does it take excel forumals?

    VBA can utilize Excel formulas but Access objects cannot.
