Subform data won't display

I've been learning today how to use subforms. I have a subform that displays the data entered for the first record of the main form, but no subsequent records show data. I've searched for help on-line to no avail and tried changing various settings. I've deleted the subform and recreated it. I've deleted the main form and recreated it and the subform.

Any help is appreciated.

Look at the tutorial on this page & see if gives you the same directions as the one you've been using:

I followed these directions last year just to verify - and was able to create a successful Form/Sub Form scenario.

It sounds as if the Default View, for the Form the Subform is based on, is set to Single View. In Form Design View, go to Properties - Format - Default View and change it to Datasheet View.

Thanks for the quick replies. Both suggestions were what I had already tried but I did figure out my problem. I was trying to create a subform in my subform (but I didn't realize that is what I was doing). When I figured out I just needed to create a query that allowed me to combine fields from two tables, it worked!
