Regarding auto updateion from another table

I had 2 table and i want 1 should be update automatically but i am unable to do so...

1st table 2nd table

slno product qty slno customer_name product qty rate amount
(primary key on product) (primary key on sl no)

now, i want that from 2nd table the sum of qty field automatically comes to 1st table under qty. Please help i m trying from many days as i m new in access.

Ideally, should not save calculated data, especially summary calcs. Do calcs on report.
