Is there away to see when a record is entered

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to see when a record was entered into the database without putting in the date???



My dilma is that I have people putting information in but if it doesn't meet a certain criteria then there isn't a place to put a date, just the clients information.....

Since nobody is responding im gonna try help you but im starting off with a rather sarcastic comment
If someone would ask you for the current time, but not by looking at the clock, would you be able to answer ?
I guess the answer would be "no"
The information your giving us is slim at best. So maybe you can explain a bit about the criteria someone needs to meet before a date can be added. Perhaps its a date of the "work" or information being finished ?
In that case i would add a field to my table named "Date_last_edit" or something to that affect.
When a user edits the client information and does not meet the requirments this field would be populated with todays date.

I would agree with JeroenMioch. What you are asking for is called a TimeStamp and AFAIK needs to be implemented by the developer, otherwise you are asking Access to devote space in each record that may never be used.
