Code to automatically set date on form

I need to write a code that when I select a checkbox that it automatically time stamps the date cell in the table with the date. Can someone please help me out with this. I need to do it with 20 different check mark and cell combinations.

In the after update event for the checkbox, put in this code.

me.yourDateFieldName.value = Date
