    Finalizing a Projct

Hey, I would like to finalize my project, I'm in my final stages.
Can you please tell me how to do it. I want the user to see the interface without all the tables, queries etc... only the forms.
I also want to have a main screen which opens up once you launch the program.
Can you please tell me how am I doing this?
I read that I have to use the switchboard manager. But I would like to get more information from your experience if possible.
And last thing, how do I lock the project if you know what I mean?

Your help is very much appreciated. By now you helped me a lot.

    Thanks!!

No, don't need switchboard. I never use the switchboard wizard. I build my own 'main menu' form from scratch.

    On the ribbon:
File > Options > Current Database > make choices

Hold down shift key when you open project to override these settings and give you developer control.

I'm in Current Database, but still cannot find the way to do this.
    There are:

    Application Options
    Navigation
    etc...
which choice do I have to make??

    This one should clarify
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...010341609.aspx

If you see the dialog as shown in the article, make whatever choices are desired - hide navigation pane, disable ribbon and shortcut menus, set default form, set window style, etc.

    Thanks June. It did help.
Now I have one last question.
The size of the form is now different. I have opened a friend's project, and now I cannot navigate between the tabs. I don't see tabs if you understand what I mean...
Do you know how to change it back?

    Thanks again!

Did you change the document window style? Choices are Tabbed Documents or Overlapping Windows. My personal preference is Overlapping Windows.
