    Positioning Tabular Labels

I've recently created a form consisting of stacked and tabular records.
In the Form the stacked records appear first followed by the tabular records.
But the labels for the tabular records seem to be stuck within the Form header instead of next to their respective record.

Can anyone help me with regard to moving the labels next to their record?

Please check image on following link to explain what I mean.

    Thanks,
    Rod.

Does your form have two SubForms on it? A design view screen shot might be helpful here.

I don't believe so, I've only just started using Access though.

You are correct in that there is no SubForm involved. Are all of those fields in the same record? Yor layout seems like you are going to have multiple eneries in the area at the bottom. If so then it should really be a SubForm with a different RecordSource that is related to the RecordSource of the MainForm. As for the label issue, you should be able to "Cut" the label from the Header section and "Paste" it anywhere you want in the Detail section of the form.

The records at the bottom are set as "Memo" type so that multiple lines of text can be entered.
If I try to cut the label, the whole field is cut.

You should really review your structure. You don't want multiple pieces of data in the same field. I would suggest a different table linked with the PK of the 1st table as a FK. I'm still fighting with ac2007 in the label issue.

On the label issue, here's some pictures for how to do it with reports. It is similar with a form.
