Sorting combo boxes

Hi.


I am creating a rainfall database. There are many stations that each have a station number and station name. I have a combo box that allows users to select the station before entering rainfall data. I would like the user to be able to view the combo box list in order by station number OR by station name. Any help is appreciated.

What does this mean? You currently have the box in place. How are they viewing it now? What do you want to happen that is different? Perhaps an example of what you have and what you want would be nice.

Thanks alansidman for your response. Basically I have a combo box that acts as a filter for a datasheet. See attached screen shot. The user might know the station number or they might only know its name. I want them to be able to search for it either way. I was thinking perhaps that I could create a check box called "sort by name" and if the user checked it the stations would be reordered by name in the combo box. Not sure how to do that or if its possible. Alternatively, I was thinking that I could create two combo boxes one with the stations ordered by number and one ordered by name. Creating two combo boxes would mess up the filter, though. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
