Multiple pages in print preview of a single page report

Hi, Geniusses



I am building a report that should take exactly one page to print and everything fits perfectly.

However, as soon as I get the print preview of the report, it gives me 18 (yes, 18) pages of report.

The whole report is built in the Detail section - no page or report header or footer.

As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the page margins.

Please help if you can - my deadline is looming

Your problem is probably in the fact it is in the detail section.

The reasoning is that access looks to dump the detail of the data here.

Try indeed moving it to the header or footer section.

If that doesnt work if you can post a screenshot of what you have and I'll take another look.

Still looking into it - considering how little data is actually contained in the report (most of it is formatting) and the fact that the report only displays data for one selected record is still strange.

I'm keeping looking into it - I suspect the problem may be in the data source, so I'm going to try barking up that tree.
