Automating Update Query to Update Table From Linked Table

I am totally new to Access, so please forgive any jargon errors.

My primary software is called Revit. It is a 3D building design software that is built upon a database. We can export the entire building (think walls, windows, doors, etc) and all of the parameters that accompany each object into an Access DB.

I have excel spread sheets that have been linked into the Access DB. I want to be able edit the parameters in the excel spread sheet (since it's more familiar with the end users).

I am able to create an update query and manually map each field from the Access table to fields in the linked excel table, but I have hundreds of tables which each contain dozens of fields.

Is there a way to automatically create these update queries without needing to input each field manually?

    Thanks for your help.

I will say 'probably' and also that it would probably be very complex code.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
