Making an inactive button Help

Can anyone tell me what the best way or easiest to make an inactive button or click box that will cause that item to be moved to another table or make inactive some how. Say for instance a employee leaves, I can click "inactive" and they will not show up in the table or search forms anymore.

Generally the better design is to leave everybody in one table and have a status field. You can use that field to filter them out of search forms as desired. If you really want to move them, you'd execute an append and delete query.
