    Parameter query options

I don't know if the following is possible - either logically (it seems not to me) or technically.

I would like to MODIFY THE FOLLOWING to give me either the exact surname (without anything before or after it, e.g. Johns and not Johnson nor McJohns) OR all surnames:

Like"*"&[Type the exact SURNAME or leave blank for ALL SURNAMES]&"*"

    Thank you for any help.

    Try this in design view:

[Type the exact SURNAME or leave blank for ALL SURNAMES] OR [Type the exact SURNAME or leave blank for ALL SURNAMES] Is Null
