Scroll bar position in main form

I have a main form with many subforms denoted by tabs, and when you click on some of the tabs, the main form scroll bar is not set to the top: you no longer see the main form header and the tabs. Some of the subforms have scroll bars, but I want to set it so that the scroll bar position of the main form is set at the top even when you click on the tabs of the subforms. When I open the main form, the scroll bar position is automatically set to the top, but that is lost when you click on some of the tabs of the subforms.

scrollbars are horrid in access. this is one of very few features that MS screwed people on. The behavior is unpredictable unless you've thoroughly researched it (which I haven't).

there IS a reason for why this is happening, however you won't know it unless you experiment with different scenarios and discover the culprit object or process of clicks yourself.

The real ? for me here would be...why, if you have subforms on a main form, do you have a scroll bar set on the main form at all? is it continuous? if so, why is it if there are subs on it? that would very cumbersome.

the first thing I would recommend, is to make every property you can of, for your main and all your subs, CONGRUENT.
