Crosstab Query

I have a crosstab query that I want to use for a control source in a report. However, the report takes a long time to run and it takes a long time when trying to just make a change to the report because of the crosstab as the source. Is there a way to solve this issue?

Maybe is there a way to copy the results of the crosstab query to a table and then use that as the source?
