    Cascading combo box updating a value in a text box

    I asked something similar to this a while back, but the needs for my form changed so the answer didn't work. So I'm asking again because I'm very new to access and am having a lot of trouble.

    So, I'm making (at least trying to) a new inventory database for the clothing bank I work for. I made cascading combo boxes that let you select the program the clothes fall under, the category, and then the item itself. What I need now, is those selections to update the value text box. I'm having trouble because there are several of the same items in different categories that have different values (like adult tops and youth tops). So, I'm having trouble getting the value box to fill in with the right value from the specific combo boxes.

    Thanks for the help, all. :}

    Can you supply a sample of your database with some fake data in it? Just make a copy, remove any privacy information then zip it up and post it here.
