    Multi Row Tab Control

I have what seems like it should be a very straightforward problem using a tab control. I want it to display as a multi row form. I created a tab control and added a dozen or so pages. After adding all the captions, the control was about 20" wide. I set the multi row property to yes and tried to resize my control, but couldn't. I've tried to drag the width, but it snaps back to 20" wide. I tried setting the width in the property box and it also resets back to 20". In short nothing I have tried works. Advice on another Access forum has been sorely lacking. Can you help?

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

I turned off "Use Theme" on the Format tab and got the second row. Go Figure.

    Cool

Sorry to seem like a dunce, but I could not find that option on the Format tab. I changed the setting under options - Current Database to no effect.

Can you step me through this?

I went back to recreate what I did before and cannot find that property again. Can you create a new blank form and place a tab control on it. Then switch the MultiRow property on and start adding pages. Is yours still broken?

I tried that, no luck. Yes, I am still stuck. I was hoping to view the copy I opened and saved in Access 2007, but I left it at home. It was really nice to see all those tabs snap into place.

You might see elsewhere that I found the Use Theme property of the Tab Control. I turned it off and I'm back in business.
I was looking on Access Format Tab, not the property box for the Tab Control.

Thank you for your help. I'll be back soon.
