    Forms without formattting

What is the trick to format Forms "freestyle" without them being formatted automatically in columns/rows. I last used Access in the 2003 edition, and I could place fields anywhere I wanted, but I can't figure out how to do that in 2010. I have everything else working that I need, but the automatic formatting of a Form is running me nuts.

    Thanks!!

auto formatting and pre-defined grids are used on NW forms from MS and any forms you make from the wizard.

if you want freedom, create a form from the "form design" button.
