damaged object and record locking problem

I have a split db on the network with multiple front end applications on 10 computers. All was working fine when suddenly a subform that was based on a query went blank and I got the message "Record is Deleted". I checked all the front end applications and this problem is universal.



Now this form does not work, and I cannot compact and repair the database because the record locking file is stuck there. I know which user has the record locked, but the application is not open and has not been for over 20 hours. I have delete permissions on the network folder, and I cannot delete it.

Does anybody have any advice or suggestions? I'm desperate!

Delete the LDB file(s) with everyone out of the system.
