Angry Strange things happening to Access

Ok, so I have this accdb file with the works...tables,some forms/queries and I wanted to copy this file to some other location.

I opened the file in the new location and noticed that the features I wanted changed!!!???? Like, the first screen is a login page and for that pgae I have disabled "close button", "Control box" and "shortcut menu", but in the copy, all of this is enabled!!! I checked the property sheet for the copy file and it says disabled .

Some of the other files are acting strange too. Some of the properties I have set work only in the original file and not in the copied file.

And there's more. The coding I did doesn't work too!!!!! Like in the code I have specified that the 'navigation pane' must be hidden onLoad of the login page and only on successful login will the navigation pane be in view. In the copy file, the navigation pane is seen in all its glory even before logging in.

oh and I have not split databases or created a web database or blah blah. Just your normal, regular, average Joe forms/tables/queries. (not sure if that should matter though)

I have not even saved it as some other version (like an MDB format). Just did a ctrl+c and ctrl+v.

So MS access has gone stark raving mad!! What else could be the reason??

Or if any of you experts have other reasons or someone else has gone through this...please help me!!! Why would this happen???? aaaaaaaaahh...so frustrating!!!

Sometimes when you copy a file it copies as Read Only. Go to Windows Explorer and make sure that is not the case with this file.

sheesh! how about that!! All I had to do was go to file and click security warning..and "enable content". This is my 'duh' moment. For a second I really thought, MS-Access went crazy.

    Thanks!
