    Cool Table/Report issues

I created an access DB in which date is entered into a form each day (hrs spent on whatever). I have a report that I set up so that it will sum the hrs under each catagory and just show the totals as entered each day. It does do this but when I look at the report it does it for each day. say I enter 4 days worth of data and the columns total 12 12 14 15 16 for the 4 days. the report will show the totals 12 12 14 15 16, but it will show it in 4 rows (1 for each day). the form DID have a date column on it but I got rid of that off the form, and none of the fields in the form use a date in calculation formula. I want to be able to enter hrs eaqch day on the form and the report only reflect the total hrs over the days involved in just 1 row. thanks for the help!

This calls for a Group section on the report and hide the Detail section. Or make the report's recordsource a Totals query and no record detail will be available. The Totals would be the Detail on the report.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
