Memo Field

When I paste a selected text from a word document to the memo field in a table it pastes the formatted text ok but it also highlights the text in blue. How can I avoid this highlighting? I am using Access 2007.

try this:
Open up notepad
Copy and paste the selected text from word to notepad. This will get rid of all formatting
Copy and paste and unformatted text from notepad to Access

Thanks for the suggestion but it did not get rid of the blue highlight.
