    Calculated fields

    Good Morning,
I am trying to setup a calculated field called CName in access 2007 for work. In my home 2010 version you can calculate it in the table but in 2007 it wont let you open it. What I have is this.

Inside the form in the CName field the control source is = [Last Name] & ", " & [First Name] & " " & [Middle Initial].

I then realized it wouldn't update the field inside the table

Next I tried leaving the control source as CName and put that line on the got focus line. Nothing. Then tried on click. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Working on this at work for work so any way around it appreciated

Nevermind, just realized I can just recalculate on each form for the other tables. The problem was that my one to one relationship table (yes I know frowned on) was not updating because of the calculated field wasnt updating the first table but honestly doesnt matter since the relationship between the two is there and I can just recalculate on each form. so nevermind
