Form opening too large

I go into design view and set the sizes that I want my popup form to open as but then when I go back and open the form it comes up very large and with a lot of extra blank space that just does not look good.



How can I get it to open much smaller and the size I want it to be?

This usually happens when you are using Access Tabbed Document environment.
In tabbed document environment all the open forms/windows are opened side bye side and stretch to full screen. If this is the case? then you have to change it to overlapping windows options.

Go to Ms-Access File>>>Option>>>>Current Database>>>Document Windows Option.

I have a similar problem in the 3 out of 7 forms are adding about 1/4" on the right side of the form. My current work around is to add an equal amount to the left side for symmetry but why make the form wider than needed?

I searched Access Help for "What is a tabbed document environment" and got nothing that noted a "tabbed document environment" I do not think I have that since I do not use tabs or how to create tabs.
