    move database

I created the access interface in access 2007 from my desktop. The tables were linked tables that linked to SQL Server databse on the server. Then I saved the access file as an mdb file and copied the mdb file to another computer which has access 2003 installed, then re-linked tables to the SQL server. Untill now everything was good. But when I tried the interface, everything linked to the buttons (properties like micros, vba etc. were gone).

This drove me crazy and I couldn't figure out why. Any idea would be appreciated.

    For clarity:
It worked on your PC with 2007, and it worked on your PC when you saved it as mdb
You copied your mdb to a different PC (that had 2003),
and the mdb did not work on the other PC.
Did you get an error message?
Is it possible one or more Reference(s) is/are missing?

the mdb can be opened on the other machine, but all the links(properties) to the buttons were gone. I couldn't think of any reference that was missing as there's only one database file. Thanks.

Can you post a copy of the mdb?

    Take out any confidential stuff.
I realize you were linked to SQL Server be, but if you can provide the table structures, perhaps I can set up an Access be with the tables just to get it to work.

If you create a new db on the other machine, can you create a Link to SQL Server table? Can you create a simple form directly on that machine?
