Access 2002 use Access 2000 back end DB

I have Access 2000 and maintain a DB for my town. I just volunteered to help out my church with developing a DB. The church PC has Access 2002.

Can I develop and maintain front-end and back-end (data) DB on my Access-2000 PC and port them to the Church's Access-2002 PC. Also I will need to port the Church's data DB back to my PC for testing and possible additional development.

    IE. upward and backward compatability?

    Thanks
    Jim T.

Both systems should have little or no problem with the ac2000 file. Keep in mind that if they were the same then there would be no ac2002. You may want to Google and see if there are any features in acXP that may have been used in that system.
