    Combo Box

    Hello there

First of all i dont know whether i can post in this section. My problem is i have a created a table named "CONTACTS" and contains names, phone numbers, etc. I created a form with all these details and i want to create a combo box where if i am typing letter after letter (for ex. first i type "A", names starting with the letter "A" should display and after i type "A", if i type "D", name starting with "AD" should display). Can anyone help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

    Adi

Have you set the AutoExpand property to YES on the Data tab of the properties sheet for the ComboBox?

That is how the AutoExpand function should work. Is it not working that way for you? What is the RowSource of your ComboBox?

    Hi Ruralguy

I got that thing worked. But i got other problems like how to count the number of records in the table should display in the form "main" and how to update the database only by the administrator. Please find the attached file

    Dear Sir

I have some problems in combo box in Access want to ask you. When I press Keyspace in the combo box I want it to show another word and then when I press Keyspace again I want it to show another word after the first word is shown.

    Best regards,

    Vannaknak
