    Running a query


    Yes it's part of an assignment but we're allowed to ask questions. I am not understanding what this statement is asking me to do and I've looked everywhere. This is my last resort.

    Run a query that displays the total number in stock for each item. Display the number in stock sorted from highest to lowest. The query should only display "Item Number" and "In Stock."

    This would be a very basic select statement which would use some grouping and sorting. You should be able to find how to write a basic aggregate query in your text book or on the internet. I don't think any of us are going to do your work for you...
