    Filter On a Form

Hi im trying to find to find a nice way of filtering on a form.

basically the form is used for doing a rundown with technicians, there are normally around 400 records and 60 plus tech ids, i can use the filter options in the top panel but i dont want users to have access to this, also i know you can use the right mouse button and filter that way but again i want something different, ideally i would of liked to just use the search at the bottom type in the id and click the filter button, but that seems to be greyed out.
    any ideas please much appciated.

You could add comboboxes to your form and make the recordset filtered based on there value.
