    Removing access features

    Hi,

is there any way to remove all access features, I.e. all there tools and options and bars, just so my forms run and nothing else can be seen?
But also to keep it so an administrator can change it to access all the tables, queries and code behind etc?

    Any help much appreciated.

maybe you could hide the ribbon based on the "currentuser" action of the database in vba? I suppose that's possible. Or do you even want to disappear that program window itself? That can be done, but it brings problems, so I would suggest not doing it.

For a list of problems it causes, Bob Larson has a thread, a faq thread I think if I remember right, that explains this stuff over at the AWF board.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
