    Access 97 -Access 2003 import

I have a database that will not upgrade properly. I lose tabs in some of my forms and the file size shrinks from about 15 megs to closer to 8 megs. I have tried decompiling the database and then importing it and the problems remain. The file size is close to 75 megs before I decompile and compress, 15 Megs before I import, and 8 Megs after import.

Does anyone have a step by step method for properly exporting the data and then getting it imported to a newer version of Access? 2003 or 2007?

I am not very savy with Access so ant help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Just use the import data function.

    No exporting required.

Open a new blank access db and then try to import all types of tables, queries, report, vba module one by one from the old corrupted access db file.

    Good luck!

    Unhappy Crosstab queries (criteria)

I'm having an issue with the criteria. When I try to insert [Enter Date]
into one of my field's, it gives me the error (The Microsoft Jet Database engine does not recognize [Enter Date] as a valid field name or expression. When I use a select query, I have no problem.
