Question Button to open on specific Data

    Hi All,

I have a record set. On my form I have subforms and there are two buttons that open another form. I want the button to open the new form for the same record.

If I am on the record page for Dr. Smith and I click dates I want all the dates relating to Dr. Smith to open. I can get the subforms to work, but not the button.

Any idea where I can start looking for the answer.

    Thanks

the answer is in the "criteria" section of the "docmd.openform" action. try that. it takes the same statement that would appear in a WHERE clause in a query, surrounded by doubles quotes and without the word "WHERE"
