MS Access 2003 Automation

I have a access control data base which is in MS-Access 2003
it is a live data all the access control entries comes in a i/o table i would like to automate ma access so that the data get update some time of intervals.
Currently when i open the data base file & open the i/o table then only the database get updated.


I would like to automate this.
Need Help urgent I work on SLA here.

a couple different approaches are possible, depending on what you really need.

Forms have a timer property. Assuming the application is opened you could use that to trigger an event. You can look up more on that property feature. Not sure this gets you what you want. maybe.

Another idea: Access is generally on PCs, and being 'event driven' - is not ideal for a 24x7 processing vehicle. But you could look at your PC (or better - Server) automated task/scheduling; and use this feature of the OS to open/close Access at set times - - and then trigger the import you need to happen upon open.

Hope this gets you going in a direction that will work.

Thanks for quick replay I have a pc on which the CardV3.mdb in which daily the access control data entries get updates only when i open that file dc on the i/o table so i want that file should open automatically & open that i/o table & wait for the table get updated. can it be possible using bat file
