Have you looked at the form with all the subforms opened (in form view, not design view)? It's kind of "busy" and since it is new, the users get a little lost in navigating. Eventually, they will get used to it. I would like to set the 3rd and 4th subforms over to the right more, to make a visual distinction between the BP level data and the CO level data. I thought it would simply be a setting, but apparently it isn't. Maybe it can't be done. Just hoping there is a way.

    Main form name: SUNTAX Header
    First subform: BPItems sub

Second subform (nested in 1st subform): BPErrors sub
Third subform (nested in 2nd subform): COItems sub
Fourth subform (nested in 3rd subform): COErrors sub

Yes, I looked at Design view and Form view. I can understand user confusion with datasheet approach.

Clicking the + opens subform at the left edge. This is not adjustable with nested datasheet approach.

As you experienced, clicking the third subform + triggered error for code attempting to position subform.
