Close operation in MSAccess application does not causes the process to disappear in Task List of the

The application during its activation, initiates its closing, by its own, and it restarts, still by its own, only after a backup of the application has been saved.

    Another phenomenon...

Close operation for the application does not causes the process to disappear in Task List table of the computer.

As a result, every attempt to open the application and perform updates in it, ends with an error message that I have not exclusive access to the application. So, I can't achieve the required result.

What could be the reason for this behavior?

Thank you for your kind help !

I hoped that the cause of the problem could be more clearly defined as well as its solution.

Thanks for your help and reply.

It provided complete information about the status of the problem and suggested several solutions.
