    If you clicked on the link there and enabled code, that's what I referred to as explicitly enabling it. You have to do that every time you open the db. The better way is to put the database in a trusted location, which is set up in

    Office Button/Access Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/Trusted Locations
