    I think you want an Access runtime and the database remains a database.

    The short answer is you can't create an exe from an Access db/app. An access app will always require Access to run. As ranman said, for users without Access you can install the free Access runtime version from Microsoft so they can run your database application. Searching on Access runtime should turn up the MS download site.
